Swift Creek High School is an alternative high school in Afton, Wyoming as part of Lincoln County School District #2. Founded in 2001, Swift Creek High is based upon the motto “Dignity and Respect.” We believe in our students and believe in their success. As an alternative high school, a limited number of students are accepted to our school who are screened through our process of admittance, including an application, recommendation from current attending high school, and an interview. Students who attend Swift Creek are expected to pledge their determination as a “Creeker” to be prompt, prepared, polite, have a positive mental attitude, participate, and produce for the world around them.
Bridges to Independence Academy is a dedicated work-study program for students aged 18-21. These students work on skills that improve their independence and participate in the program that is geared toward allowing them to be prepared to live and work in the world. Students work in various settings in the community during the day as well as receive explicit social, daily living, and foundational skills to enable them to be successful independently.
